The open-faced grain of mahogany on the AXL Wavepoint Mahogany Body Guitars (AXL-155) provides both strength and excellent sustain. The satin finish lets the classic warmth of solid mahogany resonate fully and clearly.

The Wavepoint guitar comes with 2 Alnico Humbuckers, a Tune-o-Matic bridge and stopbar tailpiece. The mahogany neck is finished with a rosewood fretboard and exclusive Talisman fretboard inlay. The extra modern body shape is tempered by the classic look of the gold-plated hardware, classic white pickguard and truss rod cover.
